It's peaceful and you feel like you've entered a beautiful amazing world!!! And Philip Wesley's Christmas album! Oh!!! Gorgeous!! (yes, I have been listening to Christmas music and playing it...I've been having a Christmas in September moment! haha:D)

Well hello!!
Sooo... I meant to post on here weeks ago, but... I forgot! LOL!! :D
Anywho, I actually haven't forgotten about this blog! yay! LOL! :D
Well school is unfortunately back in session. I'm reading the Lord of the Rings for school this year and doing this literary/vocabulary/spelling curriculum along with it- its been fun so far. LOTR is interesting... my favorite part? The names!!
How can you not love saying "Mr. Bilbo Baggins"?? And Gandalf!! The next horse I get I'm naming him Gandalf Dumbledore! Rotfl!!! Poor horse, I feel bad for him already! LOL!! :D

Well, I'm senselessly gabbing at the moment, but I had a whole tall glass of pepsi, so please, don't blame me! hahahahahahaha:P :D

HARRY POTTER ENDS STRONG!!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2 was ABSOLUTELY, INCREDIBLY, PERFECT!!!!! And if you read the books, then you know what I'm talking about!! I cried through the whole thing from the escape from Gringotts on, but it was PHENOMENAL!!!! And the end was surprisingly happy, I LOVED IT!!!! My one and only lament is that they didn't show Harry becoming Teddy Lupin's godfather, nor did we get to see Teddy in the epilogue 19 yrs later. :( my only lament as far as accuracy- but gosh it broke my heart when Tonks and Lupin died!!!! ;,'( But with Harry as his godfather and growing up with Andromeda Tonks as his grandma, I'm sure he grows up alright!! And with people there that can tell them what their parents died for, and all about them, and that they loved him very much.
If you love Harry Potter (movies or books or both), I would TOTALLY RECOMMEND this to you!!!
There couldn't be a more perfect goodbye for our favorite Wizard heroes!! And there was a surprising bit of humor in there to help lighten things up. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL work from everyone involved. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson were stunning!! EVERYONE!!!!!!! Every actor involved with this was AMAZING!!' David Thewlis (Remus Lupin) and Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) I will love forever! Though their time in these films and books was altogether too short, I love them as much as any character in them!
Kudos to everyone involved in these amazing films!! I hope that they go on to do great things in their acting careers-I get the feeling they're going to take the world by storm again, whether with the next generation discovering Harry Potter, or with the other films they go on to do, one thing is for sure....Wherever the future leads, whatever these actors go on to do, it's like J.K Rowling said at the last Harry Potter premiere in London:
"The stories we love best will stay in our hearts forever, and wherever you are, whenever you are, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home." This story that captured a generation, even as this era ends, will continue to capture the future generations and this story of these people and their sorrows and their triumphs will live on, and touch the hearts of all who know them. And for anyone who has read the books and traveled with Harry through this journey, will never forget any of their names, or their stories, and they will live on in our hearts always.

I think I wanna be a pirate...

Sooo.. Went to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides on the 20th!!!! And I actually remembered that I have a blog! LOL!! :)
So I thought I'd tell y'all how AWESOME it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
I actually wrote a review for this movie website I'm in... so- here it is, and if you get bored, I don't blame you. Let me just say these two things.. 1. I LOVE Jack & Angelica 2. I LOVE Jack & Angelica. ok, i'm done now! LOL!! :):)

The lowdown on Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides...

Captain Jack is back!

This adventure follows our old friend's Captain Jack and Gibbs from the busy streets of London, to the high seas, in a quest for the Fountain of Youth.
Some new characters add some spice to an already adventurous tale.

Spoiler Alert...

Personally, I absolutely ADORED this latest installment of Pirates of the Caribbean! Jack is just as hilarious as ever, and him and Angelica make quite a pair! I just love those two already!
Now, I can't say I'm surprised Jack leaves her on an island at the end of the movie, I think Jack's scared of his feelings for her and the power they give her over him. Haha:D But honestly, she's perfect for Jack! He just needs to get over being scared! Lol!
I hope that they end up together!
Philip and Syrena! Ah, well, as much as we miss Will and Elizabeth, if anyone could possibly come close to how wonderful they were, then it's Philip and Syrena!! I loved how Philip tried to save everyone and how he was godly!! Made him all the more attractive! Haha:D
And he was so sweet to Syrena!! I love those two also!!!
This movie was so well casted too! All the actors and actresses were absolutely phenomenal! Penélope Cruz was perfect for Angelica!! Like no one besides Johnny Depp could act Captain Jack Sparrow, no one besides Penélope Cruz could act Angelica!!! I really loved Jack and Angelica!! Their chemistry was awesome!! Ok, moving on...
To a couple big misconceptions about this film that a fan won't actually care about...

1. It's not as interesting as the others, it's boring, the plot isn't original, etc...


This movie is like a new beginning. Sorta like a sequel series almost, with Jack and Gibbs and Barbossa returning with new friends...and enemies!
Now, I could be slightly biased, because these are my favorite movies. But I'd say, don't believe any critics reviews you read, read fan reviews! They'll be the ones to tell you how it really was compared to the rest of the series! But really this one can't be compared to the others! It's completely different! If you walk into the theater expecting it to be just like the others, you'll be disappointed. It was different...in a really great, funny, slightly familiar (thanks to Jack) way. It really is a new beginning!

Now to the point of the plot...
Ok, so we all knew Jack would find the Fountain of Youth! This is Jack we're talking about- he's brilliant!! And he wouldn't be Jack Sparrow if he wasn't absently brilliant! It's not fair to go and say the plot is boring because of that. You wouldn't say the plot of At World's End was predictable just because you knew they'd get back from Davy Jone's Locker! But that fact did not make it at all predictable!
Were you confused in the last two movies? I was! I mean, I love them! But I was confused!
So I really appreciated the fact that they left out all the confusing and serious stuff and just made a fun, pirate, high sea, adventure full of laughs, a touch of romance, a few twists to keep things interesting, and a climax worthy of the title Pirates of the Caribbean!
I think, that for anyone who loves the series and is a fan of Captain Jack and a good adventure, this will prove to hopefully be another beginning to a new high sea pirate trilogy!!



2. Who wants Jack tied down with a girl? It's just not Jack!

I have one point to make..can you ever seriously imagine Jack being tied down? By anything?

Now the director Rob Marshall had said that the gamble would be wether the audiences wanted Jack to actually care about someone.
I think they won the gamble. Cause it was funny, and almost heartwarming (if you can call it that pertaining to pirates! Haha) to see Jack suddenly so human, almost scared of the hold she had on him. A little vulnerable and unsure. But almost heroic, protecting Angelica. For a pirate he became rather gallant. The chemistry between those two is absolutely undeniable. No one else could be more perfect for Jack! At first I was like..I can't imagine Jack with a girl...but Angelica is exactly right. She can definitely take care of herself, and is quite different from our former heroine, Elizabeth. She keeps Jack guessing, that's for sure! Penélope Cruz was phenomenal!! I've never seen her in anything else and yet she is now my favorite actress! LoL!!:D honestly, Jack & Angelica are now my favorite couple. Seeing this new side of Jack...he was sweet! Most of all, I loved the way you could tell that they're both totally still in love with each other, but weren't sure if they should...I LOVED them!!!!!

In short...
So, if you love the first 3, Captain Jack, a lot of laughs, and new characters that you'll fall in love with like you did with our beloved Captain, you will love Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, just as much as you do the others. I know I'm glad our favorite pirate is back in a new adventure that's better than ever!:) The whole thing was amazing!!
And hopefully we won't have to wait 4 years for the 5th one!

(Wow! So this is a lot longer than I thought 8o haha:):) Anyways, pirate ramble moment over... for now... MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......ok, I'm done now. LoL!!!:):)

A sad day...an eternal hope

Well, after fighting for 48 hours, my little sister's horse, Lyndy, passed away yesterday. ;'( It was one of the saddest days of my life, and it seems so sad to watch a much loved life end. Yesterday evening, the sunset was beautiful, and it felt as though it ought to be raining, but I was reminded that life, and the world, just goes on. And somehow when something like this has just happened, that feels wrong, like everyone should recognize the loss of such a dear, vibrant heart, and sweet, loyal friend. But the world moves along, and old things die and new are born, but for those who knew that life, she will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and loved her. And she will be remembered, not forgotten, for thought the body passes away, the heart, and soul given by Christ lives on, so too will she live on, through those who loved her.
Every life is precious, unique, and cherished by someone. And when that life comes to the final stop, we mourn it deeply. But we also are grateful for the priviledge of knowing that person, that life, and look forward to the day when we will all be together again, in a place of God, where there will be no more suffering or tears. Thank God we have the hope of that beautiful place one day. And until then living to serve Him, and love others as He has loved us.

I think I just becme a fan...

I really ought to make a section called that... anyways-

Something I Learned Today...

I've sorta come to realize something. Today me and my sis and an old friend went to an SAT strategy meeting and I can say that I am now terrified to take that test- any test that really requires a strategy to take it is waaaay too intense for a simple minded person like myself! haha :P The only strategic moments I have are during an occasional game of chess! LOL! :)
But I realized that I never wanted to be one of those amazing smart people, cause that's never been all that important to me. I mean, I know it's sorta important, but it's never been the focus of my life. I guess to me, the thing that I've always loved, cherished, and appreciated my whole life as long as I can remember and that makes me truly happy is the people in my life. God has blessed me so richly in that area that I could never begin to tell my friends how wonderful they are, or thank God enough for my amazing life! So if your reading this, any of my friends, I love you and you are awesome! Thank you for being part of my life!!! :) <3
After the meeting today, I admit I almost had a meltdown about never being smart enough for this test (I really don't test well. haha:P), but when I really got to thinking about it, I realized what was important to me, and I realized that as long as I'm happy and can hopefully make the people I love as happy as they make me. and live my life to glorify God alone, that's all I really ever need. Yeah, this makes me pretty different than most of the people I know, but that's sort of ok.:)
So, in short, I will freak out about the test, but at the same time, I know that everything's gonna be ok! :) (and I'm going to come back and read this the night before so I can remember this! LOL:D)

Well, I just remembered that I had this and realized that I've been shamefully overlooking it for some time now! haha :)

Anyways, not much new here except school- and horse bowl, competition's coming up- I think my coach is going crazy- she's really competitive- more so than the team really! LOL!!! :)
